The First Weekend: Tollymore

The inaugural Women With Altitude event took place at Tollymore Outdoor Centre in April 2011, hosted by Mountaineering Ireland, in association with Gartan Outdoor Education Centre.

The idea was to bring together women who share a love for the mountains, to encourage and inspire each other, through a weekend of activities and workshops. After two days of sunshine, smiles and skills-sharing, it was clear that this was just the beginning.
